Scientists who lead the company
Kwangmin Kim is a specialist in personalized medicine, bioinformatics, and microbiome research with over eight years of experience transforming complex biological data into actionable healthcare insights. He holds a Master’s degree in Genetics and Biomedical Informatics from Pusan National University School of Medicine and joined 3BIGS as a core member in 2018.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to numerous scientific publications and collaborative research projects with leading institutions, including Seoul National University School of Dentistry, Yonsei University Health System, and LG Household & Health Care. His expertise spans microbiome data analysis, biomedical informatics, and large-scale biological data interpretation.
More recently, Kwangmin has expanded his work from research and analysis into microbiome database and platform development. By integrating microbiome, clinical, lifestyle, and health-related data, he is helping build advanced data-driven and AI-powered solutions designed to accelerate personalized healthcare and precision medicine.
Dr.N.Sathishkumar is a scientific and technology leader specializing in translating advanced bioinformatics, multi-omics, and microbiome research into scalable products, platforms, partnerships, and commercial solutions.
Currently serving as CTO and Director of R&BD, he leads the development of direct-to-consumer (DTC) microbiome-based products and services across NGS applications. His work spans bioinformatics pipeline development, advanced downstream analytics, benchmarking and reference databases, web-based platforms, automated reporting, and end-to-end sample-to-insight workflows, alongside scientific strategy, cross-functional R&D, international partnerships, and business development.
He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, with postdoctoral research experience at Sunchon National University. With 14+ years of experience, more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications, patents, and recognition among the Top 5% of Scientists Worldwide in the 2025 SciRank Global ranking, his work bridges scientific research, technology development, and real-world biotechnology innovation.
